Laboratory

The laboratory department at cfb Medical Centre is equipped with modern and up-to-date laboratory equipment that can cater for most of the investigations required to give the patients a better diagnostic facility.
The tests include Microbiology, Parasitology, Serology, Biochemistry and Hematology. Some Hormonal assays may be conducted at the facility. Tests that cannot be done at our facility such as Cytology are sent to an external laboratory for processing (within Lusaka or to South Africa) and the results are communicated back to us in a timely manner.
Our Laboratory is open 24hrs with adequate staff to provide the best services to our patients.
