Physiotherapy

The department is located at the annex building and has its own car park area. A ramp access to the reception is available. Our team of experienced physiotherapists provide a wide range of treatment to both in-patients and out-patients.
Services include:
– Rehabilitation
– Injury prevention
– Health promotion
The department has a whole range of therapy applications including thermal therapy, ultrasound therapy, mobilization, traction, soft tissue manipulation and electrotherapy. It also has a separate exercise room where active physical therapy is imparted, under supervision.
On first attendance, a comprehensive assessment is done of the patient’s condition and a therapy plan is discussed with the patient and instituted by the physiotherapist. Progress is then regularly assessed and documented.

A referral note outlining the clinical condition must be written by a cfb doctor before the patient is given access to the physiotherapy department.
